Stadiums Queensland are the statutory authority created to own and manage five major facilities including; The Gabba, QE II Stadium, Suncorp Stadium, Chandler Aquatic Centre and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.  The Brisbane Entertainment Centre positioned in the suburb of Boondall is very well serviced by all modes of transport infrastructure including; rail, bus services and the north and south entries and exits to the Gateway Motorway.  The extensive onsite car parking areas may be better deployed as a multi-unit dwelling land stock.

Stadiums Queensland engaged DMA Partners as part of a consortium of PDT and Deicke Richards Architects to assess the urban design and economic opportunities to redevelop 6 hectare of the onsite car parking as a TOD to ease housing affordability in the area.
