Commercial buildings are an important segment of the real estate investment stock for institutions, corporate and private groups alike. The need to create attractive, efficient, functional and comfortable workplaces that allow employees to be more productive is central to creating value in commercial assets. Buildings typically have a life span of over 25 years but technological change and global trends can dictate the need to renovate and re-position these assets on a 7 to 10 year cycle.
DMA Partners and our director’s have managed the development and refurbishment of commercial projects from 53-storey high-rise corporate towers to 2-level suburban allied medical and service centres. All these projects have a common need for good design, engineering and space planning to ensure they are attractive to tenants and deliver the investment aspirations of their owners and developers.
