Development Manager

Ian’s development and project management experience has stemmed from over 25 years in architectural and development firms including QM Properties and Cox Rayner, and more recently with the Urban Land Development Authorities (ULDA) exemplar greenfield development Fitzgibbon Chase. Along with his involvement with Pacific Harbour for QM Properties his skills in managing large scale projects including the environmental, social and economic sustainability tenets have been vital. In addition the financial and programme management of a project of this scale is critical and Ian’s experience has stood him in good stead in dealing with all stakeholders, whether Government Authority, consultant, contractor or the community.

Experience gained from exposure at all levels of construction and development matters allow Ian to offer an understanding of diverse business principles and strategies. His communication and relationship building skills come from constant commitment to the client / project and to quality in all things. Ian has a particular interest in economically viable sustainable development and has active involvement in industry and community groups, currently sitting on the board of the Australian Green Development Forum and the UDIA EnviroDevelopment National Standards Taskforce.
