South Bank Corporation has been the development authority of Brisbane's iconic riverfront destination, South Bank, since 1989.  The Corporation is also the planning and development authority for a broader area (west to Merivale Street and east to Vulture Street), as well as owning the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre which is ranked among the top three in the world.
