James has completed over 20 projects in both construction project management and development roles over the past 7 years. He is a registered project manager with the Australian Institute of Project Management and has completed residential, retail and mixed use projects in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

James spent over 3 years with MCD Australia delivering services for a range of clients and projects from $1 million to over $100 million. Engagements included project management services for Devine on their River City, Festival, Charlotte and Casino Towers developments.

In 2006, James joined Brookfield Multiplex Developments and worked as a Development Manager on various projects including Portside Wharf where he managed the preparation, lodgement, negotiation of a revised master plan approval taking the allowable density from 57,000 m2 to over 135,000m2. James was also involved in a project management role in the expansion of the cruise terminal facilities to accommodate the increasing demand and passenger requirements.

Most recently, James was responsible for the development and delivery of the Cotton Beach and Pandanus Pocket projects on the Tweed coast. This involved all aspects of the project including the successful delivery and settlement of 129 luxury beachfront apartments in 2008.
