Retail & Mixed Use
Park Central is a master planned transit oriented development (TOD) spanning three adjacent sites, including retail, residential apartments, student accommodation and a ‘sky park’ recreation space
This project involved a number of physical challenges such as transport links, cross block links and a subterranean bus tunnel. DMA Partners ensured these constraints were addressed through the architectural and urban design response in a way that offered a commercially viable solution.
We had a strong understanding of the project vision, catchment demographics, likely expenditure and neighbouring activity generators which enabled us to deliver an assessment of the retail configuration to advise on the restructure of the asset maximising valuation and functional design. This involved implementing a collaborative design management process to meet retail trading requirements so that major tenant and commercial lease negotiations could commence.
