Project Updates
Over more than 15 years, DMA’s proven methodology has resulted in the delivery of strong investment returns to our clients through the development of new or existing property assets.
Our approach is to get involved early, collaborate intensely and find the maximum potential in every project. This approach breaks down the investment and development lifecycle into four key phases, outlined below.
In the initial Investment Phase, we thoroughly explore our client’s investment goals and objectives. The outcome of this phase is largely dependent on our client’s ambition, capacity and timeframes, which may result in the acquisition or divestment of property to pave the way for the next phase of investment.
Then, through the Project Definition Phase, we build a robust property strategy to understand the highest and best use for the site and set the parameters that will truly unlock potential and produce a strong return on investment and deliver on objectives.
The Development Phase follows where we seek even greater added value by sourcing and leading a full project team to execute the strategy by progressing design, negotiating approvals, negotiating major tenant agreements or sales, procuring a head contractor and securing funding.
Finally, the Delivery Phase realises the tangible value generated through the first three phrases and brings the new or repositioned property asset to life.
“DMA brought several capabilities that have been central to the success of Southwest Medical Precinct. Their advice on the market and tenant requirements shaped the re-design. Their capacity to negotiate excellent commercial terms has given us the confidence that we’re getting real value for money from our consultants and contractors”

“We set out to form a group of trusted advisors to deliver The Hive and chose DMA because they listened and understood our objectives, have the experience to understand what our project needs and how to deliver it successfully. They brought a very strategic approach to analysing the project and put a focus on economic feasibility. DMA has been a long term and important strategic partner.”
