Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is an iconic super-regional shopping centre based in Brisbane’s inner western suburbs with a GLA of approximately 116,000sqm.

AMP has owned and managed Indooroopilly Shopping Centre since late 2017, with the acquisition based on a five-year repositioning strategy to revitalise this asset.  Significant capital investment has been injected for substantial development works to seamlessley integrate the ‘old’ and ‘new’ parts of the centre, improve customer circulation, upgrade carparking and enhance overall customer experience.

DMA Partners was engaged in 2018 as the Centre Development Team’s delivery partner to manage the design and construction teams to execute the repositioning strategy set by the owners.  Working in an operational centre brings significant challenges and DMA’s project leadership team support the Indooroopilly Development Team to ensure seamless integration of numerous sub-projects running in parallel, with minimal disruption to existing tenants and customers, minimising hold-ups and overlaps, finding efficiencies to meet (or beat) budgets and deadlines.

DMA is proud to partner with Indooroopilly Shopping Centre’s Development Team to revitalise this iconic super-regional asset, collaborating at every stage of the project from detailed design management and cost planning to contractor engagement, from construction to completion, continually examining for opportunities and weaknesses, incrementally adding to efficiencies contributing to the overall revitilisation strategy setting the asset up for continued growth and improved returns into the future.
