Meadowbrook Medical is a state of the art medical facility servicing residents of Southern Brisbane and Logan City. DMA Partners were engaged to determine the best development outcome for the proposed medical development site adjacent to Meadowbrook Shopping Centre.
DMA provided advice on the actual demand for medical type uses, the scale and brief for the potential building and a development strategy to reduce project risk and deliver a valuable asset for the family investment group. The scope of services included undertaking a Development Assessment, Site Assessment, Market Assessment, Options Analysis, Recommendations on the Development Strategy, and Tenant Negotiations.
Commercially led advice early in a project is critical to it’s success, Working closely with Architects Cottee Parker and Town Planners Place Design, DMA were able to execute a redesigned masterplan, and a new tenant strategy that drove the value of the asset three fold.
"DMA took the scheme we had and changed it significantly to make it more profitable,
more suitable for the market, and a more appropriate development for the area.”
"The value DMA bought to the project was significant and we are very happy with the
outcome"
Ben Horwell from Horwell Property Group
The DMA team secured a commitment early in the project from UQ Health Care for a 725m2 ground floor tenancy within the complex. DMA’s Matthew Cummins was able to work with the client to determine the best investment outcome and control the project from a feasibility (product and revenue) perspective.
DMA’s Project Manager David Valentine controlled and managed the delivery and construction of the physical building elements and managed the delivery of further approvals through to occupancy.
Following the successful delivery of UQ’s ground floor tenancy, DMA Partners have been engaged by UQ Health to deliver their next project Logan Healthy Living, which is to be housed on the 1st floor of Meadowbrook Medical.
