Developed by EkkoPoint Properties in 2019, the 100 room Quest Hotel and serviced apartments was constructed in Cannon Hill to service an underlying demand driven by the commercial and industrial businesses located in Brisbane’s eastern Suburbs.

The Quest Hotel is operated by The Ascott Limited. Although Ascott Limited were the tenant,  they were also the incoming purchaser of the asset and in conjunction with the developer, appointed DMA Partners as independent certifier within the commercial agreement, to ensure that the property was delivered in accordance with the tenancy guidelines and the commercial agreements in place with the purchaser.

DMA Partners also took an active role with the builder, Vantage Building Group, to ensure that the serviced apartments were defect free and fit for their intended purpose upon practical completion and hotel opening.

By utilising our expertise in hotel and residential development and fulfilling our role diligently, Quest Cannon Hill was handed over for daily operations, which triggered the sale process and commercial agreement between all parties. Commercial settlement was reached with no issue and the Quest Hotel Cannon Hill continues to be a valuable addition to Ascott Limited’s portfolio.
