The new $150 million theatre at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is now well underway, with Blight Rayner Architecture and Norwegian firm Snøhetta announced as the successful Principal Consultant design team.
DMA Partners was appointed by Blight Rayner + Snøhetta to project manage the first stage, leading to the appointment of the managing contractor Lendlease. Now that the project is under construction, DMA Partners continue to provide ongoing support to Blight Rayner + Snøhetta with their design and documentation deliverables, programming and quality assurance compliance.
The theatre itself, being constructed by Lendlease is due to open to audiences in 2023.
DMA Partners is honored to have been chosen for these roles, helping to realise the Queensland Government’s aspiration to deliver such an iconic project.
